Emmerdale star Beth Cordingly hints at Ruby catching out Tracy and Caleb

Emmerdale star Beth Cordingly has hinted that Ruby may be the one to find out about Tracy and Caleb’s affair.
Tracy, who is married to Nate, and Caleb, whose estranged wife Ruby made a shock appearance on the soap last week, have been having an affair for months.
In scenes set to air next week, Tracy will tell Nate their marriage is over, but refuses to explain why.

Caleb takes pity on Nate and lets him stay at his place, when Nate tells Caleb he thinks Tracy has been seeing someone behind his back.
Ruby urges him to find out who Tracy’s mystery lover is, and becomes suspicious when she overhears Caleb arguing with their son Nicky.
Speaking to Inside Soap, Cordingly opened up about the prospect of Ruby uncovering the truth of her husband’s affair.
“It’s not spelled out for the audience as to whether Ruby’s cracked it,” she said.

“That said, Ruby’s not the type to play her cards close to her chest – she’s pretty fiery and chooses big moments to do things that are pretty dramatic.”
Opening up on what Ruby would do if she did discover the truth, Cordingly teased a public showdown, saying: “If she decides to make a scene about something, she’ll do it in a very public way.”
Talking about Caleb and Ruby’s relationship, she added: “Caleb and Ruby have one of those dysfunctional relationships. It’s like an unspoken agreement between them that it’s fine to stray when they’re on a break. However, they don’t have an open relationship – when they’re together, they’re together.”
