Emmerdale Rishi’s killer ‘unmasked’ as resident’s dark secret is ‘exposed’
After months of speculation, it appears Emmerdale's Amit Sharma may have something to do with Rishi's death as recent scenes saw him seemingly reveal a dark secret
Emmerdale fans think Amit Sharma may have murdered his brother Rishi after a chilling scene on the soap.
Last year, viewers were left heartbroken when Rishi’s body was found lifeless at the bottom of his stairs. But although Jai was the first one to discover Rishi in heartbreaking scenes, months later, Jai’s brother Suni revealed that Amit was in the house with Rishi before he fell to his death.
Following Rishi’s tragic death, Jai also found out that Rishi was not his biological father and it was in fact Amit, which only further filled Jai with stress and anger. But although the world he once knew had been turned upside down, Jai continued to remain suspicious of Amit, believing he had something to do with Rishi dying.
On Tuesday night’s show (February 22), Jai was pushed to his limits when Suni decided to invite Amit to his birthday party without him knowing. But before Jai told Amit to sling his hook, Amit gave Suni and Jai a copy of his will.
Reading the details of the document, Suni and Jai discovered that Amit had planned to leave his business to his sons. This also made them suspect that Amit could be dying.But this is not the case at all, and Amit hinted he had something to do with Rishi’s demise during a chat with his solicitor. Here, he suggested it was good financially that they got Rishi out of the way as his inheritance money helped cover the cost for his business.

Amit said: “Everything is as I wanted it. And lucky enough I didn’t have to share my inheritance with Rishi.”
The solicitor then said it was a “massive convinence” that Rishi died the way he did. Amit then said: “Poor Rishi, such a tragedy. Still, it got me out of a bind. Every cloud.”
After the jaw-dropping scene aired, fans headed straight over to X formerly known as Twitter to share their thoughts. One viewer said: Wait, so he did actually kill Rishi after all? Thought it was just a tragic accident. Fall down the stairs triggering a fatal heart attack sadly.”
Another said: “Amit is a good villain he is very clever. I think Amit killed Rishi.” While a third asked: “Did Amit actually kill Rishi then?”
