Emmerdale’s Angelica King could be leaving the Dales – but in an unexpected way.

The teenager, played by Rebecca Brakes, was driving the car that killed Heath Hope (Sebastian Dowling) on New Year’s Eve. Despite initially pinning the blame on Heath’s twin sister Cathy Hope (Gabrielle Dowling), Angelica eventually came clean.

The police told her parents Jimmy and Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) that she will likely receive a custodial sentence. While her sentence is yet to be revealed, it is likely Angel could spend years away from her family.

Nicola recently discovered Angel’s hearing was on March 13, leaving plenty of time for the teenager to make a shock decision. Writing on Reddit, one fan speculated: “What if Angel does a runner before her hearing?”

Another disagreed with this idea however, responding: “She would be caught in no time. Won’t happen.” With this theory in mind, Daily Star quizzed artificial intelligence ‘creative’ tool Bard AI to see whether Angel could attempt to run away before her sentencing.

The programme responded: “Facing imprisonment is a significant and stressful situation, Angel running away would only make it worse. Angel has shown moments of both impulsiveness and vulnerability throughout the show.

“So, it’s plausible she might be experiencing a range of emotions which could lead her to make an irrational decision. During Wednesday’s episode (February 21) of the ITV soap, fans spotted a glaring blunder with a scene involving Nicola and Angelica.

Jimmy and Nicola have been trying to spend as much time with their daughter and decided to take their kids to see Dua Lipa in concert. But with everyone’s phones left at home, the family was unable to attend the gig as they were unable to prove they had purchased tickets.

Ensuring they didn’t miss out on the fun, Nicola thought it would be a great idea to party in the carpark instead. They all gradually got used to the idea and the family had a party of their own amongst the parked vehicles.

But fans felt the whole thing was unrealistic and pointed out a number of flaws. Some couldn’t wrap their heads around Dua, a worldwide star, playing at a local concert in Hotton. While others complained about the fact that the gig appeared to be going on during the middle of the day.

Heading over to X formerly known as Twitter, one viewer said: “What day of the week is this concert supposed to be? During the day also. Them dancing around like idiots. Writers please do better.” Another said: “Are we expected to believe Dua Lipa is playing there?” A third wrote: “What in the CapCut editing is going on here? Dua Lipa my backside.”
