ITV Emmerdale fans rumble shock exit twist in harrowing Tom King storyline – but it’s not Belle Dingle
Emmerdale viewers are convinced Belle Dingle will kill her new husband Tom King after their wedding night took a dark twist and his behaviour gets worse
Emmerdale viewers have rumbled a surprise twist that could see an exit from the Dales on the cards – but not for Belle Dingle.
Tom King has just got married to Belle Dingle, but their wedding night ended in a big argument when Belle wanted to open a letter from her mum. Whilst Tom later apologised to Belle for what happened and she forgave him and called him a “good man” after he gave her a special honeymoon gift – it now looks like things are only set to get worse.
Fans are now convinced Belle could be pushed to the absolute extreme by her controlling ex, a bit like what happened in Coronation Street with Geoff Metcalfe and his wife Yasmeen. Tom’s behaviour has worsened since the wedding, when a big fight broke out on the night of their wedding day and he ended up sleeping upstairs and left her downstairs.
“I’m going to read mum’s letter. It doesn’t matter if my mascara runs now. She was so lovely, always knew the right thing to say,” she said, before Tom fired back to say sarcastically: “Because now’s the right time.”
Launching into a tirade, he then went to say: “Every time I’ve tried to get close to you today, to enjoy our day, all you’ve done is bang on about that, your family. And yet you can never see it. Sam cutting the photos short because he couldn’t stop moaning that he was hungry, Nate starting a punch up and trashing the place.

“You know what, it doesn’t even matter because your family had already turned it into a junkyard with that tatty banner and that filthy boot on our table. And then we have Mandy looking like a slob. I thought we might have one day where it was about us, one day where you actually considered putting me first. You just let your family ride roughshod, take over and ruin over the entire thing.”
His comments left Belle devastated. He continued: “You know, at least I know where I stand in your priorities moving forward. I’m going to bed and for the first time today you can actually do what I want and you can sleep down here on your own.”
Taking to social media, fans opened up about their thoughts. One fan shared their thoughts: “Belle’s mental health issues resurface. Good news: She kills Tom. Bad news, it is a whodunit. Cain helps her hide the body.”
Another person wrote: “Belle please kill Tom while he’s sleeping I cant deal,” whilst another added: “Belle should kill again, this time purposely.” A fourth shared: “Someone please kill off Tom!!! He’s sick. Cheers.”
