Emmerdale’s Mandy heartbroken as she learns truth about Paddy and Chas’ secret kiss
Chas Dingle braces herself when Mandy Dingle confronts her about the kiss with Paddy Kirk and things take a upsetting turn after the truth is revealed about the secret smooch
Mandy Dingle is left gutted in Emmerdale next week.
At their respective houses, Cain (Jeff Hordley), Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) and Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) prepare themselves to open their results of the faulty BRCA2 gene test following Chas Dingle’s (Lucy Pargeter) diagnosis.
Moira’ Dingle’s (Natalie J Robb) bursting with relief when husband Cain tests negative. Cain feels irrationally guilty about his good luck as he reflects on all Chas has had to deal with. The Miligans are all relieved when Caleb tests negative too which means Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope) is in the clear too.
Meanwhile, in the flat above, Aaron’s floored when he realises that he’s inherited the faulty BRCA2 gene from his mum. Chas is relieved to hear Cain and Caleb’s results but later Aaron lies to her and claims that he tested negative for the faulty gene. He’s grim to see how emotional and relieved his news has made his mum.
Chas braces herself when Mandy confronts her about the kiss with Paddy. After a tense exchange, Chas is stunned to hear that Mandy’s keen to draw a line under the situation. Later in the week, at Marlon Dingle’s (Mark Charnock) not so surprise party, Mandy’s furious when Marlon lets slip that Chas broke off the kiss, not Paddy. How will she react as she struggles to digest this new piece of information?
Elsewhere, AmitShrma (Anil Goutam) enquires about Eric Pollard’s (Chris Chittell) wealth and forms a cunning plan. During their pool match, Amit and Pollard raise the stakes by betting money on their next game. Amit’s pleased to see Pollard’s exhilarated by the prospect of the competition and, keen to gain his trust, he purposely loses. Eager to keep life exciting, Pollard’s intrigued when charming Amit presents a lucrative business proposition and the pair continue to bond. When Rodney Blackstock (Patrick Mower) warns him off Amit, Pollard’s determined to prove he still has his wits about him.
Amit and Pollard discuss business and Amit manipulates Pollard into making a deal with him. Pollard’s all in as he commits to their joint venture. The next day, Amit’s shocked when Pollard insists on speaking to Brenda before transferring any money. Amit does his best to ensure Eric transfers the money without sounding too desperate. Will Pollard trust his new friend and part with his cash?
