ITV Emmerdale affair ‘sealed’ for Ruby and Nate in huge twist as Caleb revenge exposed
Emmerdale have revealed what's in store for Caleb and his fallout with estranged wife Ruby - but could an affair be on the cards for scorned Ruby and Nate after the end of his marriage to Tracy?
Caleb and Ruby will be set for some big scenes next week – as another affair could be sealed on Emmerdale.
Next week on the ITV soap, Nicky is left surprised when a slanging match between Ruby and Nate leaves his mum completely unflustered. Caleb is left unimpressed when he realises his wife is only making things more difficult for him and the Dingles.
Nicky is finding it hard watching constant rows between his parents and he’s quick to stick up for his mum when Caleb demands to know what she has said that has upset Nate so much. Caleb is left frustrated by Ruby’s apparent constant need to bring his family down and ruin his chance of ever reconciling with the Dingles.
Caleb starts to feel guilty later that night when Ruby tells Nicky what she gave up in order to be with his dad and it’s clear that she is convinced his relationship with his family is a threat to their future together.

Nicky suggests to his mum that maybe an apology to Nate might be a good idea and she decides it might be a way to win him back. Nate decides to accept Ruby’s apology and as the pair start to bond about the betrayals they have both faced, Caleb walks in and is surprised to see them all talking so amicably. However, he’s gutted when Nate makes it clear that he hasn’t forgiven Caleb.
Are things going to work for Ruby and Caleb – or has she pushed him too far? In her first scenes, it was very obvious that Ruby liked the look of Nate, when she attempted to flirt with him before the big cheating revelations, so could this truce between Nate and Ruby be a sign that the pair might even end up with one another?
Jurell Carter – who plays Nate – previously opened up about the chance of Caleb and Nate making up one day.
“Nate is massively focused on loyalty, the family unit and the Dingle code, so he will never feel like he’s got his justice. I think it’s going to be an ongoing thing. I just don’t know if Nate’s the type of person who can ever get over something like that,” he said.
He adored Tracy and I don’t think there’ll ever be a reconciliation because it’s not something you can really ever get over. Then again, you could call Nate a hypocrite because obviously he did the same thing with his dad’s wife a few years ago!”
