‘He’s not that stupid’ say Emmerdale fans as they ‘rumble’ Jai’s shock secret as Eric discovers Amit killed Rishi
Viewers have spotted hints in recent weeks that there is more than meets the eye with Rishi's death.
EMMERDALE fans have rumbled Jai Sharma’s shock secret after Eric ‘discovered’ that Amit had killed Rishi.
Fans of the ITV soap have been left questioning the death of Rishi Sharma for months.
During the summer, Rishi was found dead at the bottom of the stairs and died of what appeared to be a heart problem.
Weeks later, a shock flashback revealed that Amit was actually present when he died without anyone knowing he was in Emmerdale.
It led many to speculate that Amit was actually involved in the death of Rishi and murdered him.
However, when Suni found out about this, Amit pleaded with him that he had nothing to do with Rishi’s death and that it was purely accidental.
The matter appeared to be closed until Amit was seen having a very mysterious conversation with his lawyer in his car.
It sent shivers down viewers spines as his lawyer remarked how Rishi’s death was “massively convenient” as Amit went on to sarcastically and disgustingly quip that the death of his brother was a “tragedy”.
During the latest episode, Eric Pollard made it his mission to prove that Amit was somehow responsible for the death of Rishi.
He teamed up with Vinny Dingle to create a plan to collect evidence.
Vinny distracted Amit at The Hide whilst Eric entered his house with some stolen keys in order to retrieve any evidence that Rishi’s death was suspicious.
However, as Vinny attempted to keep Amit away, he soon scurried off back home in order to find Eric snooping.
Unbeknown to them both, Jai was in the kitchen making a sandwich and was left bamboozled as to why as row appeared to be breaking out between Amit and Eric.
Eric told Jai that he had suspicions surrounding Rishi’s death but he quickly shot him down and defended Amit.
Although fans were left severely unconvinced that Jai was being genuine.
Jai had cause for concern regarding Amit for months yet magically sided with him straight away when a shock allegation was presented to him.
Emmerdale viewers now think that Jai is onto something as they believe he is secretly plotting against Amit.
Taking to X – formerly Twitter – to comment, one fan said: “Jai is not that stupid he knows something is up.”
Another added: “As if Jai wouldn’t have doubts after everything with Amit.”
Before a third went on to pen: “Jai hated Amit a few weeks ago, surely he is playing everyone?”
“Why would Jay believe Amit over Eric? Didn’t he have his own doubts about him until last week?,” commented a fourth.
