Emmerdale fans ‘figure out’ horrifying Amit death twist as Jai Sharma takes revenge
Emmerdale fans are convinced Jai Sharma's corrupt father Amit has met a gruesome end after the businessman finally discovered the truth and got revenge for Rishi's death
Emmerdale fans were gripped to their seats as Jai Sharma finally gets his revenge on his biological father Amit.
Over the past few months, ITV viewers have been following the corrupt businessman who has been attempting to pay off his debts to a cruel loan shark. Earlier on in the year, his brother Rishi discovered Amit’s plans to drain the Hide to pay them off and threatened to spill his secret.
But the businessman was too quick for him and pushed him down the stairs which tragically killed him. However, things never stay quiet in Soapland and it didn’t take long before Eric Pollard learnt the truth last week.
Determined to put an end to his schemes, he immediately told Jai who initially shut down his claims. But on Wednesday (March 27), Jai followed his father to his latest meeting with Dee where he learnt the truth.
But the madness didn’t end there, as Eric popped round to the house to check on Jai. Leaving his father with a broken arm and a gruesome cut to the head, he revealed to Eric that he had a recorded confession from him shortly before his fall.
It was at this point that Eric pointed out that the confession wouldn’t hold up in court because it was a forced confession moments before he was injured. Feeling desperate, Jai rushed back inside the house and warned Amit he had more trouble ahead.
At the end of the episode, fans watched Jai pick up the phone to his girlfriend Laurel Thomas as he cleaned up spots of blood on the carpet and the skirting boards. Amit was noticeably missing from the house as Jai finished cleaning up before the episode ended.
It didn’t take long before viewers flooded to X – formerly known as Twitter – to share their suspicions as to what happened to Amit online. Many viewers are convinced Jai has killed his father and hidden the body in a suitcase.
One user penned: “Jai’s put Amit in the suitcase #Emmerdale ” as another argued: “That’s a very small suitcase, he must’ve minced him up… [vomit emoji] #emmerdale.”
A third asked: “#emmerdale Has Amit ended up in the suitcase? @emmerdale” as a fourth echoed: “Is… he in the suitcase?! #emmerdale.” Meanwhile a fifth questioned: “Has Jai killed Amit or has he got him stashed away somewhere or taken him to hospital because we don’t know what he’s done with the body …… #Emmerdale @emmerdale.”
