Emmerdale fans ‘already know’ Kerry was on phone to ‘another villager’ in identity twist
Emmerdale fans are convinced they know who Kerry Wyatt was on the phone to during Friday's episode, as she was heard warning someone to back off after weeks of hiding a secret
Emmerdale viewers believe they have discovered who Kerry Wyatt was issuing a stern warning to over the phone during Friday’s episode.
Kerry, who has been acting strangely and evidently hiding something in recent weeks, was seen nervously answering a call. Fans will recall that Kerry, upon returning to Emmerdale after more than a year away, revealed she had got engaged to a man named Malcolm following a rapid romance. The couple, however, had a massive argument leading to their split.
She confessed to throwing his engagement ring in the sea after being accused of theft, and not long afterwards was seen secreting away a diamond necklace. In a recent episode, Kerry said there would be “no expense spared” as she generously contributed to her daughter Amy Wyatt’s hen party.
Despite never fully explaining how she managed to get such a quick windfall to those close to her, fans have spotted her squirrelling away both jewellery and cash, while also offering to foot the bill for Amy’s wedding. But according to some viewer theories, someone might be onto her, possibly a victim of her theft or even her elusive ex-fiancé Malcolm, reports the Mirror.
During Amy’s hen party on Friday, Kerry surreptitiously slipped away to take a call from an unidentified individual. She narrowly avoided getting caught by Moira Dingle, warning the mystery caller to back off.
Over the phone, Kerry was heard saying: “How many times? Stop pestering me. I owe you nothing. Get off my back. This is the last time I am gonna warn you.”
Following this alarming conversation, she promptly resumed acting normally. However, viewers are convinced they have discerned the identity of the person on the other end of the line.
Plenty of fans think it’s someone with close ties to the village, who was recently seen struggling for cash. One X user said: “I think this secret person Kerry is on phone to is Amit. He’s the only one struggling for money I can think of.” Another replied: “This would be good, I wonder where he is after the fight with Jai? He’s already shown he’s not above scamming for money.”
Another enthusiast speculated someone from the cruise ship could be gunning for Kerry after the bling she nicked from her Cher tribute gig. Could Malcolm be the one with a vendetta, possibly plotting a trip to the village for a bit of payback?
