Kim Tate (Claire King) is not someone you tell to do anything, so Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) is chancing his luck big time when he decides to take her on in upcoming Emmerdale scenes.

Perhaps being her son-in-law makes him think he has some protection, but he’d be wrong.

Not long ago she killed a man with her horse and then covered it up. Before that she was all about destroying Caleb Miligan (William Ash) for what he tried to do to her.

Members of her own family have met a sticky end at her hands. In other words, she is not someone to be crossed – not even by her nearest and dearest.

That said, Kim has become more ingrained in Billy and Dawn’s (Olivia Bromley) lives since Dawn got pregnant with Evan. Dawn even nominated Kim as her birthing partner in a move that nearly saw us choke on our dinner in shock.

One might even say Kim’s mellowed.

So, you might forgive Billy for forgetting Kim’s ruthless side after being privy to the softy underneath.

Billy has a serious proposition for her, and he’s not prepared to take no for an answer. Could he be the first person to put her in her place, or will he fall by the wayside like the rest?

He tells Kim he wants to work as a PT on the estate. Kim wastes no time in shooting down his plan and excitement for providing a future for his family.

He is crestfallen that his dream is crushed before it’s even off the ground.

But a chat with Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker) sees a fire ignite in Billy. She encourages him to confront Kim and give her a piece of his mind. Will he be successful, or will it have the adverse effect to what he’s after?
