Emmerdale spoilers: Belle’s pregnancy terror as sick Tom’s grip tightens even more
Poor Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) looks like she’s treading on eggshells around Tom King (James Chase) in Emmerdale.
The beloved character is currently in an abusive and controlling marriage to Tom, who stops at nothing to ensure he isolates Belle from her friends and family as much as possible.
In tonight’s (May 2) episode of the ITV soap, Tom and Belle decided to head out for a meal.
Things were a little uncomfortable before the couple even left the house, as Belle failed to spot Tom was wearing a new shirt because she was busy with Piper the dog.
When they returned from their lunch, it became apparent Belle and Tom’s afternoon together wasn’t exactly romantic.
We learnt that Tom had drunk quite a lot of alcohol, and they also dealt with a ‘rude’ waitress and an ‘obnoxious’ couple.
The conversation led Belle to telling Tom she needs to try harder in their relationship, because she sometimes doesn’t see things the same way as him.
As Belle got up to get a drink for Tom, the evil man smirked, clearly happy with the developments of the afternoon.
That evening, as Tom headed upstairs to bed, Belle opened her computer and googled whether it’s possible to get pregnant while on the pill.
We know from previous episodes that having children is something Belle feels she isn’t ready for – but Tom, however, thinks he is.
