Belle Dingle hides dangerous secret from Tom King that will incur his utterly vile wrath in Emmerdale
Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) has hidden a huge secret from husband Tom King (James Chase) in recent Emmerdale scenes, which will be sure to incur his wrath should he ever find out.
After suspecting that Belle might have been pregnant, Tom bought her a test and wasted no time in laying out a plan for them going forward – despite the fact that Belle didn’t feel ready to have a baby.
Fortunately for her, the test came back negative, though Tom made his disappointment very clear.
He soon turned on her, and insisted that she was selfish for wanting to put her career wishes before his desire to have a family, before storming out to meet some friends.
With Tom out of the way, Belle met up with Mandy Dingle (Lisa Reilly) and explained the situation, admitting that she felt like she was being selfish.
However, Mandy assured her that it was okay if she wasn’t ready to have a baby, and that she had to think about the child that she would be bringing into the world.
Back at home, Tom continued to manipulate the situation, by insisting that he was worried about them having fertility issues.
When that failed to win Belle over, he turned to guilt-tripping her, by suggesting that a baby would give them the stable family he had always wanted.
Eventually, Belle agreed to try for a baby, though it was clear it wasn’t what she really wanted.
In a bid to ensure that he got his own way, Tom made Belle throw her contraceptive pills in the bin, before heading out to get some celebratory non-alcoholic wine.
As soon as he had gone, Belle fished out the box of pills and quickly took one, before hiding the rest.
With Belle taking a huge risk, could she be set to face Tom’s wrath?
