Emmerdale spoilers: Shocking twist as major character ‘found dead’ after sudden collapse
Things go from bad to worse for Ethan Anderson (Emile John) in upcoming Emmerdale episodes.
The character is facing prison for causing serious injuries to Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope) when the car he was driving them in crashed. Nicky was left with serious head injuries and has been in a coma ever since, with his anxious parents at his bedside.
Ethan ran away from the scene of the crash, worried about how it could affect his career if he was found guilty of driving offences.
He confided in his dad Charles (Kevin Mathurin) as his guilty conscience overcame him, and Charles followed his own conscience and promptly called the police, who arrested Ethan.
When Nicky’s parents, Caleb (William Ash) and Ruby (Beth Cordingly), found out that Ethan was responsible for their son’s injuries they vowed revenge, as did Nicky’s uncle Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley).
So when Ethan is targeted in a hit and run incident and left battered and bruised, any one of them could be responsible as he’s a man with a target on his back.
As he recovers from these injuries, Ethan overhears a conversation between Ruby and Rose Jackson (Christine Tremarco), Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley)’s mother. What he hears bothers him as it makes him worried that Rose doesn’t have Dawn’s best interests at heart.
He confides in Charles, who encourages him to leave Dawn a voicemail.
As they prepare for Ethan’s court appearance, there’s panic for Charles when he comes into the sitting room at Woodbine to discover that Ethan has collapsed on the floor – and he isn’t breathing.
‘He just goes into emergency mode, he has no clue what’s going on,’ Kevin Mathurin told us as he revealed that things look very bad for Ethan.
‘Charles is’s suffering, he’s panicking. He knows a bit of CPR but obviously Ethan’s not responding so he’s a bit more relieved that Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker) shows up and can probably do a better job than he can because she’s qualified.
Due to the time that’s elapsed, Charles is in a bit more distressed and panicked about the situation because Ethan’s not responding to him trying to resuscitate him.’
Is this the end for Ethan? And if he dies could someone be facing a murder charge after the hit and run?
