ITV Emmerdale fans ‘work out’ who Ella’s linked to as mystery girl in photo ‘exposed’

Emmerdale’s Ella Forster left fans convinced they’d worked out what she is hiding in the latest episode of the ITV soap.

The newcomer has been acting strangely for weeks, with it clear she has a secret or two. Amid fans being convinced she could be linked to former character and serial killer Meena Jutla, the latest episode gave some new hints.

Spoilers had revealed Ella was living out of her car and homeless amid her romance with Liam Cavanagh, while later in the week she will visit a mystery character in a care home. On Tuesday she moved her things into Liam’s house as he offered her a place to stay.

But when doing so, with Mandy Dingle offering to help, some things were knocked over. Mandy picked up a photograph of two young girls and wondered who they were, leading to Ella snapping.

She called Mandy out and grabbed the picture from her, and viewers saw it in full view. It wasn’t clear who the girls were, but it’s thought from Ella’s reaction she is one of them, and she certainly knows the other mystery person.

Ella apologised for snapping and claimed she was protective of her belongings, with Mandy leaving the room. But who is in the photograph and what does it all mean?

Viewers are convinced that they’ve actually seen the photo before or one similar, and that it was in the possession of killer Meena. If this is true, then either Ella and Meena know the same people, or perhaps it’s them in the photo.

Some fans were convinced that one of the girls in the snap was a victim of Meena, possibly the friend she killed called Nadine, while others wondered if she was instead a relative of this girl – or perhaps Ella herself was related to a victim. Either way, many fans suggested the photo could be the proof they needed to confirm Ella is linked to Meena after all.

Taking to social media, one fan posted: “Is Ella the sister of the girl Meena killed?” as another said: “Maybe Ella is related to one of to one of Ella’s victims.” Others recognised the photo, with one writing: “Did Meena not have a similar photo in her treasures box?”

Another fan agreed: “Oooh now that photo looked a bit familiar. Did Meena not have a similar photo in her treasures box?” Others speculated who was in the photo as one fan commented: “WAS THAT CAROL IN THE PHOTO!? AS IN THE CRAZY WOMAN THAT STABBED MEENA?”

Another said: “It’s Ella and Meena I wonder if they are sisters or maybe Meena is Ella’s mother.” A further comment read: “Was that Meena in the photo????” as another added: “Ella and Meena?”
