ANOTHER clue about Ella Forster’s big secret has been revealed in tonight’s Emmerdale.
The receptionist – who is played by actress Paula Lane in the ITV soap – is hiding a huge dark secret about her past
Ella was evasive with Liam and then rushed out and it soon emerged where she was going.
Walking into a care home, Ella signed herself in before going into an old lady’s room and announcing: “Here’s trouble!”
She then sat with her and went through an old family album where it became clear the lady was suffering from dementia.
“Do we look at this every time?” the woman asked her as Ella replied: “We do. We love it.”
And when the woman asked Ella how long she’d been visiting, she told her: “A while. You’ve always got me.”
As Ella went to fetch the woman a drink, she returned with a small drink to find the woman remembering something tragic.
“Were we once very sad about something?” she said.
Ella told her: “We were yeah, but we got through it, didn’t we?”
But as they talked, Manpreet walked in and saw them while visiting another resident.
And when Ella spotted her, she confronted her, clearly hiding something huge.
“Like I wouldn’t know you’re here,” she said confronting Manpreet.
“Like I couldn’t read the guest book. Why are you following me? Liam, Mandy, the questions… Are you all in on it?”
A shocked Manpreet replied: “In on what? No, I’m not in on anything.”
The GP explained how she was visiting a patient but after seeing Ella’s distress asked her for a lift back to the village in the hopes that she would open up to her.
In the car Ella was still guarded but asked Manpreet to not tell anyone about the old lady.
She threatened to leave her job and even go homeless again if Manpreet didn’t.
Sobbing, Ella said: “She is the most important thing, the most…
“And whatever time I’ve got left with her, it’s time I never thought I’d get, that I don’t deserve.
“I have to cherish each bit. It’s between me and her, it’s deep and it’s private and I’m all she’s got.”
But who is the woman and what is Ella’s connection to her?
