Terrified mum Dawn distraught in hospital in gutting Emmerdale spoiler video

Dawn Taylor’s (Olivia Bromley) nightmare continues in Emmerdale soon as little Evan’s remains very poorly.

A few weeks ago, Dawn and Billy Fletcher’s (Jay Kontzle) baby son Evan was diagnosed with leukaemia.

The shocking development has understandably left the couple in a difficult place. Dawn has spent practically every single moment at the hospital with Evan, leaving Billy with the arduous task of trying to work, visit Dawn and Evan, and look after their other children Clemmie and Lucas.

Billy attempted to talk to his wife about finding a better balance recently, but it was a struggle.

He said that Dawn should come home and have ‘family time’, but she couldn’t help but feel Evan would be an ‘afterthought’ if he was left in the care of doctors and nurses while she spent time with her other children.

With Dawn and Billy unable to meet each other halfway, the tense conversation ended with Billy walking out and Dawn being left with poorly Evan on her own again.

In this new video, Evan remains in his hospital cot being looked after by doctors and nurses.

When Dawn enters, she asks the nurse about Evan’s chemotherapy. The nurse advises Dawn to get some rest now as eventually, Evan will reach a point where he finds it hard to get comfortable and may not sleep as much.

After once again expressing her worries about her son being in pain, Dawn is reminded that it’s important for her to switch off so she’s able to be of use to her little boy.

Sitting down by Evan, Dawn glances at some information about the chemo.

It’s very clear Dawn is trying her best, but will she remember the importance of taking time away from the situation, to help her body and mind process what’s going on?
