Emmerdale lines up fire drama in Tom and Belle King storyline

Emmerdale‘s Belle King finds herself in danger next week after her abusive husband Tom locks her in their house again.
Tom’s controlling behaviour could lead to terrifying scenes amid a major fire risk in the kitchen at the couple’s cottage.
Next week’s episodes see Belle struggle after discovering that she’s pregnant.
Belle doesn’t want anyone to know about her news, so she feigns illness in front of Tom and Mandy in order to protect her secret.

When Belle pays a visit to Wendy Posner at the GP’s surgery, she feels apprehensive about her options.
The next day, Belle’s half-brother Cain Dingle rebukes Tom for selling her car without consulting him first.
This leaves Tom furious and he returns home to accuse Belle of bad-mouthing him over the car.
Tom sternly questions Belle and threatens to turn violent again. Fearful of Tom harming the baby, Belle blurts out that she’s pregnant.
The villain’s demeanour immediately changes as he pulls Belle in for a hug. They both cry, but it’s clear that Belle’s tears aren’t ones of joy.
Belle is left questioning everything as Tom promises to be a better husband from now on. As Tom seems sincere, Belle starts to wonder whether they could have a future after all.
Later in the week, Tom locks Belle in their house again, under the guise that he’s doing it for her own protection.
Belle leaves some food to cook on the hob, then goes for a nap with Piper the dog.
As Belle rests, she’s unaware that a tea towel in the kitchen has started to burn while she sleeps. Will the kitchen be set ablaze?
