SAMSON Dingle’s exit storyline has been revealed as he plots his escape from Emmerdale – but Moira’s in his way.
The teenager has caused the Dingle family to implode in recent weeks after making friends with bad boy Josh.
The pair were involved in an altercation with Matty Barton at the HOP a few weeks ago, which lead to Samson being stabbed after Josh pushed him into Matty, who was holding a knife at the time.
Samson has decided to cover for his new pal, leading to Matty being arrested and put in prison while awaiting trial.
His lies have caused a huge wedge to form among the usually tight-knit Dingles, with his dad Sam clashing with his brother Cain, who is married to Matty’s mum, Moira.
In upcoming Emmerdale scenes, Moira is seething to hear Josh and Samson’s intention to leave for their European trip sooner than before, vowing to stop them.
Moira bursts into the Dingles and levels her accusations about Samson leaving early at Sam who defends his son’s innocence.
Soon, Sam is convinced to let him leave as he promises to be back before the trial, but Moira is on a mission to stop him going.
Later in the week, viewers will start to wonder if Lydia is beginning to suspect Samson may be lying.
When Josh threatens Samson, putting pressure on him to continue lying to the police, Lydia observes their interaction.
Moira and Lydia meet and Moira implores her to help but will she?
The Sun on Sunday revealed back in April that actor Sam Hall – who plays Samson – was leaving the ITV show.
Sam has been part of Emmerdale for 15 years, having joined when he was just five-years-old.
In recent years Sam has tackled tough storylines on the soap including being a teen dad after a fling with Amelia Spencer.
