Emmerdale’s Kim Tate ‘needs to watch out’ as villain’s return ‘sealed’ in shock twist
Emmerdale fans reckon Kim Tate needs to watch her back as a return could be on the cards for a major villain who is involved in Rose and Ruby's sinister plan
Emmerdale viewers are predicting a comeback for a notorious baddie – and it spells trouble for Kim Tate.
Soap enthusiasts will remember the introduction of Rose Jackson (Christine Tremarco) earlier this year, as the long-lost ex-wife of Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) and mother to Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley).
It was later unveiled that Rose had abandoned them both when Dawn was just an infant. In a shocking plot twist, it was revealed that Rose had ties with fellow villager Ruby Fox-Milligan (Beth Cordingly).
As fans will recall, Ruby is hell-bent on ruining Kim Tate (Claire King) – and with Rose currently residing at Kim’s place, Ruby has coerced Rose into helping her bring down soap icon Kim.
Later, Rose received a mysterious message – leading her to meet a dealer who handed over a vial of tranquilliser. He then instructed her to wait for further orders.
Rose’s ominous plan involved spiking Will’s drink to entrap him – but Rose found herself torn after forming a bond with daughter Dawn. However, by the end of the episode, she sent Ruby a message confirming their plan was indeed in motion.
Emmerdale enthusiasts are making wild guesses that Jamie Tate (acted by Alexander Lincoln) could be the evil puppet master pulling the strings of Ruby and Rose’s deadly plot.
A viewer speculated on social media platform X (previously called Twitter), “I wonder if Rose is working with Jamie Tate”. A second user pondered, “Not entirely sure what Rose and Ruby wants to do. We’ve already had the drugging of Kim storyline in home farm when it was Jamie Tate…”, continuing their thought process.
Another Emmerdale fan queried on a Facebook fan group, “Could Jamie Kim’s son be behind it all, to ruin Kim.” This theory was supported by a fourth who speculated, “She needs to watch out if he’s coming back he already tried to kill her.”
Alexander Lincoln’s character, Jamie Tate, last made an appearance in 2021 when he staged his own death in a horrifying car accident. After convincing his mother, Kim, of his death, Jamie slipped away to live discretely with his daughter Millie and her grandmother.
