Emmerdale baby secret rocks village as returning character drops bombshell news

Emmerdale viewers will see a baby twist cause drama next week on the ITV soap, following the return of a character.

Residents are left in shock next week over one character’s pregnancy news, resulting in a character being angry and humiliating someone else. Ella Forster made her big return to the show in a recent episode, weeks on from her appearing to flee.

With her dark past and true identity revealed to villagers including her love interest Liam Cavanagh, she was forced out. Ella had killed a friend of hers when they were both 11 years old, and she had been released from prison a few years back.

With Ella back on the soap, she shocked pal Mandy Dingle as she confirmed she was pregnant after she was taken to hospital. Mandy urged her to tell Liam the truth but she didn’t – while that is something that happens next week.

New spoilers have revealed the moment Liam finds out Ella is carrying his child. He’s left reeling, with him still coming to terms with the murder of his daughter Leanna a couple of years ago.

Ella only tells Liam the truth when she has a funny turn in the village, with Liam there when it happens. She admits she is pregnant, and he’s left in shock before he makes an awkward move.

Liam blurts out the news in the pub to other villagers, leaving his other love interest Chas Dingle gutted. Chas is there for Liam though, and she supports him as he struggles to comprehend the concept of being a father again after his tragic loss.

Ella then pays a visit to try and speak about the situation, but he’s not ready and refuses to open the door. Mandy is furious with Liam when she finds out he has refused to speak with Ella, and she soon decides to give him a piece of her mind.

But it’s clear Liam doesn’t even believe Ella is pregnant after her lies to him in the past. Ella is humiliated when he forces her to do a pregnancy test to ensure she’s telling the truth, but what will she say?
