Emmerdale’s Caleb Miligan lets slip major family secret in meeting with long-lost relative
The businessman found himself exposed as he clashed with a long-lost relative tonight
EMMERDALE’S Caleb Miligan has revealed a major family secret in tonight’s episode in a clash with mother-in-law Helen.
The businessman – who is played by actor Will Ash in the ITV soap – faced off with Helen after she contacted him to try and reunite with her daughter Ruby.
But their row ended in viewers discovering a shocking family secret.
“My daughter has a right to know that I’m dying,” insisted Helen. “There are things that need to be said. You always were full of it.”
He hit back: “At least I’m worthy of here. You see you, all that money you’ve got, it might have bought you a big house and friends at the golf club but it never did buy you class, did it?”
Helen told him: “Please don’t claim you know me, because you really don’t.”
“I know that you tried to pay me to ditch her,” said Caleb. “And I know that when she got pregnant you tried to force her to abort our child. And I know you turfed her out with nothing.”
“And I’ve had to live with that all my life,” said Helen.
But Caleb snapped back: “And now you’ll have to die with it.”
However Helen wasn’t without her own comeback, asking him: “Tell me, have you seen much of Stephanie?”
Caleb furiously cut her off, insisting: “Don’t you dare even say my kids’ names. Do you hear me?”
The confirmation that Caleb and Ruby have another child has come as fan speculation has ramped up.
It’s not yet known if their daughter Stephanie will appear in the soap but as it’s Emmerdale, long-lost children never stay lost.
Caleb himself was a long-lost son of Faith Dingle and Frank Tate, while his brother Cain had two of his own – daughter Debbie and son Nate.
Charity Dingle also had Debbie and her son Ryan turn up from out of the woodwork.
And fans are a little bit stunned at yet another version of the same storyline.
One sarcastically wrote: “Of course Caleb’s blackmailing rubys mum for money.”
