ITV Emmerdale drops shocking hints on who will finally take down Kim Tate—and it’s neither Will nor Caleb!
Will Taylor has decided to turn his back on Kim Tate, pleading with Caleb to join forces while the businesswoman is unaware of the danger. But could another villager get revenge?
Soap fans have been keen to see Kim Tate get her own comeuppance in Emmerdale, and while Will Taylor may try to take her down, another unsuspected villager may decide to get involved in their row.
The spouses have been locking horns since Will Taylor (played by Dean Andrews) romped with Rose Jackson, leaving him on tenterhooks with his wife Kim (Claire King). But things took a turn when she decided to blackmail him as punishment, tricking him into digging his own grave.
During this Tuesday’s trip to the ITV village (September 24, 2024), tensions were turned up a notch when Kim showed Will she’d moved on with her financial advisor. After an altercation between both men, which left Will with a bloody nose, Kim extended an olive branch to Will. However, when he realised she was asking him to leave Home Farm, fuel was added back onto the fire, and Kim managed to get back into Dawn Fletcher’s (Olivia Bromley) good graces as they agreed to bury the hatchet.
Dawn Fletcher may be ready to take Kim Tate down herself to avenge her mother
Will was infuriated, knowing that Kim was ready to drip poison in Dawn’s ear and, in another furious move, he turned to Caleb Miligan (Will Ash) for a solution, offering him help in his efforts to take down Kim and take over Home Farm, his father Frank’s legacy. But a third villager may be tempted to get revenge on Kim herself.
Dawn Fletcher was disappointed to realise her mother Rose (Christine Tremarco) had left the Yorkshire Dales and began probing Kim and Will for answers. While she may have seemingly forgiven Kim for driving Rose away, could she be hatching her own plan to make her pay?
In this scenario, Dawn may move back into Home Farm with her family, becoming a united front with Kim against a womanising and deceitful Will. But in a huge twist, she may then avenge Rose and get rid of Kim in her own way. Over on social media, some fans have been keen to see Kim’s downfall play out on their screens with one writing on Monday: “I would actually love it if will got all of home farm from Kim. Kim wins far too much for my liking. She needs a portion of her own medicine.” But another theory suggests she may have her own accomplice.
“There’s no way Kim would get her hands dirty, so who dug the hole and carried the coffin etc?”, one soap viewer wondered on Reddit, leaving one fan to respond: “I think it was Billy. Kim gave him that wad of notes Dawn found.” Another agreed: “I think it was billy.” Could he be involved and face his own wife on opposing sides?
