Emmerdale Shocker: Moira Devastated by Life-Changing News – Her World Unravels in Heartbreaking Twist!
Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) thinks things have been tough so far, but they’re only going to get worse for her in Emmerdale.
Moira’s mourning the loss of her freedom thanks to the tumour in her brain, as her family are treating her with kid gloves after she proved herself to be a liability – and a sheep killer.
She not only accidentally poisoned the flock with paint, but she also took off in the Land Rover against medical advice and ultimately ended up having a ginormous seizure in the woods. Had Mack not found her, she’d have gone the way of the sheep.
As her medication takes its sweet time to kick in, her seizures continue to gather in frequency, and her latest took hold as she was cooking breakfast right before Cain (Jeff Hordley) returned home from visiting his dad.
A dangerous time to conk out when there’s hot bacon fat and the like in the mix, it’s a wake-up call for Moira.
She then received a call from the hospital, who let her know that she’s been bumped up for an operation. But just as Cain returned he learnt that his dad has died, and Moira decided to delay the op without telling anyone.
This decision could have proven fatal to her as there was no telling when another date would come up and whether her tumour could suddenly have a growth spurt.
But Moira is wearing her lucky pants as she gets wind that she’s been given a new date for the op.
For most this would be good news, but this floors Moira. She is terrified and horribly aware that one slip of the knife and at best she could end up being a different person, and at worst, leave her children without a mum.
But she also knows she cannot delay any further – one more seizure and she could be dead anyway.
Frightened of what lies ahead for her she makes a drastic move – she turns to Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) with a big request for help. Will Vanessa be able to say yes to her sick friend’s big ask?
