Emmerdale Tina Dingle’s secret son revealed as bombshell threatens to tear family apart

Emmerdale's Tina Dingle - who is played by Samantha Power - made her shock return to the village earlier this week and it's safe to say she made a big impression

Emmerdale has revealed another shocking twist in the ITVX early release episode, now available for online viewing.

Tina Dingle, who first graced the Dales in 1994 and was originally played by Jacqueline Pirie, has made a dramatic return with a massive family revelation. The character is now portrayed by Samantha Power.

Tina’s surprising return to the village was to attend her father Zak Dingle’s (Steve Halliwell) funeral, who tragically passed away off-screen and was brought back from Scotland to the Emmerdale village for the family to bid him farewell.

However, the Dingles were stunned when an unexpected woman arrived at the funeral, clearly a family member. The mystery was soon solved as Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) identified the woman as Tina Dingle.

The Dingles were in for a shock as Tina began hurling insults at the family, overshadowing Zak’s farewell. She even audaciously tried to stake a claim on the family home, reports Leeds Live.

It was later revealed that Tina was on tag – and a police officer arrived to take her away for violating her probation. However, fans are were left convinced that Tina is concealing a major secret – she has a child.

In Monday’s (October 21) episode, airing on ITV1 at 7.30pm tonight, Tina visits Mandy Dingle’s (Lisa Riley) salon to announce that her tag has been removed.

Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) found himself at PampaManda, but a worried Mandy was desperate to whisk him away. As Vinny made his exit, the drama ramped up between Mandy and Tina.

Tina threw down the gauntlet to Mandy, saying: “Maybe I’ve come for everything that’s mine. Vinny is such a sweet boy and it makes me sad everything I’ve missed out on. What’s mine is mine. My house, my son.”

Mandy, who has been Vinny’s rock since his dad Paul Ashdale (Reece Dinsdale) scarpered, was left in floods of tears at the mere thought of Vinny’s real roots being exposed. But will Tina let the cat out of the bag, or can they strike some sort of deal?

Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 at 7.30pm and available to stream from 7am on ITVX
