Tom King (James Chase) takes sick revenge against wife Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) amid her grief for her late dad Zak Dingle (Steve Halliwell) this Emmerdale spoiler video reveals.
Belle was released on bail after attacking her abusive husband with an axe during a hostage situation earlier this month, and has been unable to prove his torment of her to the police.
Since then, Tom has been taunting Belle with the threat of prison and in scenes to air this week, he sets an evil plan in motion to try and get her sent down.
Her emotional state started to spiral after the Dingle family found out about the death of patriarch Zak last week, and in forthcoming scenes, she is immediately triggered when a bunch of condolence flowers arrive without a note.
Believing Tom is behind it, she then makes the dangerous decision to confront her ex, and breaks the conditions of her bail in doing so.
As you can see in the video above, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) is comforting her at Wishing Well cottage when the police turn up on the doorstep.
Belle soon finds herself being arrested and facing an uncertain future when she is then arrested and taken down to the station.
Around the corner, Tom watches on as he sees his plan successfully play out.
Tom recently destroyed the only evidence of his abuse of Belle, smashing up the tablet that contained secret recordings he made of her at their former home.
Will she be able to prove his abuse to the police, or will she soon find herself behind bars?
