Emmerdale’s Tina Dingle ‘set to kill’ in dark twist – and the victim is a family member
Emmerdale's Tina Dingle has only just returned to the village, but fans are convinced she will soon be embroiled in a killer storyline - and it's a family member who will end up dead
Emmerdale’s Tina Dingle, played by Samantha Power, is predicted to be embroiled in a shocking murder plot, according to soap fans who believe they’ve ‘sussed out’ her potential victim.
Tina made a dramatic return to the Dales last week for her father Zak’s (Steve Halliwell) funeral, whose off-screen death led to his body being transported from Scotland back to the Emmerdale village.
The character was last seen in 1996, portrayed by Jacqueline Pirie, but Zak’s passing prompted her return, causing quite a stir at the funeral. The Dingles were left reeling as Tina began hurling insults, overshadowing Zak’s farewell and audaciously staking a claim on the family home.
Despite being under police surveillance, Tina returned to the village in Monday’s episode (October 21), where it was shockingly revealed that she is Vinny’s (Bradley Johnson) biological mother, who was adopted by Mandy (Lise Riley). Following this revelation, viewers are speculating a dark turn of events for Tina, suggesting she might murder a fellow villager – a relative, no less.
Fans have taken to the internet to share their theories, suspecting she might kill Tom King (James Chase), her brother-in-law who has been causing havoc for the Dingles after abusing his wife Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) earlier this year.
Telly buffs reckon that cheeky Tina might be the one to put a cork in villain Tom’s bottle of horrors. A soap superfan dished on a Facebook Emmerdale gossip group: “What if Tina found out about Tom’s assault on Vinny? Could she be the one to kill Tom?”, reports Leeds Live.
The theory sparked a buzz among followers, with another chiming in: “There’s a thought! ” Meanwhile, someone else suggested: “I think she will come to Belle’s rescue.” And a third fan speculated: “I hope so, it would be a good way to redeem the Tina character.”
Spilling the beans on what could unfold, Samantha spilled the tea about her character Tina: “Well, she has no filters, and she will literally do anything to make sure she gets her way, including her claim to the house. She is not one to be trusted! I loved it! “.
She threw in a bonus nugget too, hinting: “She is feisty, bolshy, selfish, and she always seems to have an agenda and won’t stop at anything to get what she wants! “.
Getting candid about some iconic scenes, Samantha reminisced: “There was one specific scene with Lisa where I was face down in a pool of mud. That was extremely memorable, and I loved every second of it. There was also a scene which involved an explosion, which was so impressive.”
