EastEnders teases multiple exits in worrying scene ahead of ‘double death’

EastEnders could be waving goodbye to more than one character in the coming weeks amid claims of a shock death for Linda Carter, as well as Nish Panesar's exit on the BBC soap

EastEnders could see multiple exits on the horizon amid two apparent deaths on the BBC soap in upcoming episodes.

There was a scene on Monday night that hinted more than one character could be about to leave Walford for good. A bombshell by the police over Keanu Taylor’s murder led to an even bigger discovery by Nish Panesar, ahead of his exit.

Nish will be leaving the show at some point following him being diagnosed with a terminal illness earlier this year. There’s also reports Linda Carter will be killed off soon, after cast members were pictured filming a funeral, with her missing from the scenes.

Now, Linda and others face serious trouble with their killer secret under threat. If the latest episode was anything to go by, we could be losing more than one character as secrets come to light.

Viewers know that last Christmas, Nish tried to kill his wife Suki Panesar leading to Denise Fox attacking him and almost killing him. He remained in a coma for weeks, before waking up with no recollection of what happened.

Meanwhile that same night saw Keanu killed by Linda, after he attacked Sharon Watts. Linda stabbed him and killed him, before The Six, including Sharon, Linda, Denise, Suki, Kathy Beale and Stacey Slater, buried his body under the café.

After the body was found Dean Wicks was framed for the crime and he remains in prison. But on Monday night, it became apparent that the police were not convinced, as they questioned the women about the events of Christmas yet again.

Not only that but they claimed new evidence could confirm they were all suspects, with their fingerprints found on the material used to conceal Keanu’s corpse. When Nish found this out, his interest in the case arose once more, months after he stopped asking about what happened.

He knew something had happened to him and did not believe Keanu attacked him, or that Dean would have killed Keanu. While slowly the true details started to come to light, he still had no idea about what Suki and the rest were really covering up… until Monday.

There were horrifying scenes as Nish realised The Six were meeting up and trying to get a story together, with him overhearing Kathy mentioning “not slipping up” and avoiding being found out. Nish was told to leave, while he made it clear to the police he was suspicious of them – before appearing shocked as he questioned if Suki and the others were suspects.

Nish headed to Kathy’s house where he claimed Suki had told him everything, even sending her a text from Suki’s phone pretending this had happened. Kathy fell for it all and ended up admitting Linda killed Keanu and they all covered it up.

Kathy was sickened to realise she had been duped, and soon Nish headed back to Suki’s where he informed her he was now in on the killer secret. So with ruthless Nish now knowing who killed Keanu, who was involved and who committed what crimes, just as the police are suspicious again, will he grass them up?

With Nish leaving and Linda rumoured to die, surely if Nish does tell the police everything then all six women will face prison. So are we about to lose some big EastEnders icons with the truth finally coming out?
