Emmerdale Jade’s ‘real identity exposed’: King link, revenge plan and secret daughter clue

Emmerdale newcomer Jade has certainly ruffled feathers since her recent arrival on the ITV soap.

Amid her causing big trouble for more than one village resident, there could be something she is hiding. Fans are sure she has a secret or two, and might even be linked to a past character.

Jade doesn’t have a surname currently, which is very suspicious. She’s played by singer and former Hollyoaks actress Twinnie-Lee Moore.

With Jade set to take centre stage this week, also heading to the village next week according to spoilers, who exactly is she and is she hiding something? Here are the top theories about her real identity and what she might be up to…

Is Jade actually Stephanie?

Viewers are convinced Jade could in fact be Caleb and Ruby Miligan’s estranged daughter Stephanie. Jade arrived around the time Steph started being mentioned by the pair amid a twist.

Stephanie’s arrival on the show is imminent, surely, given all the mentions and the fact her parents want to reach out after Ruby’s mother died. Ruby was stunned to find out her daughter was in contact with Helen before her death.

All we know currently is that Steph has been AWOL for years and has not been in contact with her mum and dad. Given Ruby was estranged from her own mother, she was alarmed to find out Steph was somehow in contact with her.

But with all the mentions, fans are wondering if Jade, the boxing promoter causing trouble for Billy Fletcher and Ross Barton, might be linked. Could she be using Jade as an alias, and might she actually be Stephanie?

King link

In another theory, viewers speculated she could in fact be linked to the King family. Might she be the secret daughter of former resident and Jimmy King’s ex Sadie, played by Patsy Kensit?

Fans have long wanted the ruthless character to return to the show. It’s not clear where this theory stemmed from as nothing has suggested a King link. But it hasn’t stopped viewers wondering if she and the Kings are tied together.

Billy revenge twist

Another theory about Jade is that she could be someone from Billy Fletcher’s past. Billy got himself involved with promoter Jade and the unlicensed fights, while it was never really shown how it came about.

But Jade is desperate for Billy to continue, with there clearly being a lot riding on the fights. She’s spoken of someone else being involved that Billy does not want to mess with.

So could Jade or the mystery person actually be out to get Billy? Might there be something from his past that has led to Jade or someone else taking revenge?
