Here is the first look at Ruby Allen’s (Louisa Lytton) explosive return to EastEnders.

Louisa is reprising her role as the former Walford nightclub boss for an extended guest stint, with her first scenes airing next week.

Now EastEnders bosses have given fans a glimpse of the moment she comes face-to-face with ex-husband Martin Fowler (James Bye), with an explosive showdown following.

As fans will remember, Ruby was jailed back in 2021 after Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) framed her for growing a cannabis farm in the Slater garage.

It was payback for Ruby getting former best friend Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) sent down, having falsely accused her of pushing her down the stairs and making her lose her and Martin’s unborn child.

As Ruby was driven away in a police car, it was heavily implied she was pregnant again – something that was confirmed during Sharon Watts’ (Letitia Dean) brief spell in prison earlier this year.

After coming face-to-face with her killer stepmother Chrissie Watts (Tracy-Ann Oberman), Sharon learned that Chrissie and Ruby had briefly shared a cell, before she was moved to a mother and baby ward.

Since her release, Sharon has struggled to tell her friend Martin that he has a child he knows nothing about.

However, next week, the truth is out as Ruby returns to Walford and faces off with Sharon and Martin about the birth of her son, furious about the fact his birth certificate has mysteriously gone missing…

Speaking about Ruby’s return to EastEnders, Louisa previously said in a statement: ‘I am thrilled to have been asked back to the Square to revisit Ruby once more, and to shed some light on what the past three years have been like for her during her time away from Walford.

‘I’ve always loved playing Ruby as there is never a dull moment and I cannot wait for everyone to see what Ruby has in store.’

EastEnders airs these scenes from Monday 18 November at 7.30pm on BBC One and from 6am on iPlayer.
