Emmerdale fans have been left in a state after the latest offering of the ITV soap failed to go up on ITVX.
The long-running soap, which airs weeknights at 7:30pm, has been dropping episodes early online via its broadcaster’s streaming service, with daily editions of the serial available to view from 7am each morning.
Fans, however, were left upset on Thursday (November 21) morning when logging on to view the new episode only to find out that it wasn’t there as expected.
‘How comes #emmerdale isn’t available on ITVX This Morning?,’ asked user Danny F on X, formerly known as Twitter. ‘ Is there something big in the episode that means it is shown only tonight?’
Niall, meanwhile, added: ‘@ITVX @ITVXhelp is today’s episode not uploaded early?!’, sharing a screenshot of streaming service ITVX to demonstrate that there is currently no episode listed for Thursday.
Metro has reached out to Emmerdale for comment.
It’s no wonder than viewers are eager to see what happens next in the Dales following that twist on Wednesday, with Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) having cheated on Moira (Natalie J Robb) while she was undergoing brain surgery.
The mechanic struggled to process the possibility that the surgery might not go as planned and he proceeded to lash out at everyone and everything in his way.
When he crossed paths with Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) – his brother’s wife – at the garage, one thing led to another and they slept together.
The twist has received quite a response online, with fans devastated that Cain betrayed his wife when she needed him more than ever.
After attacking Jimmy King (Nick Miles), Cain headed to the hospital, where he comforted Moira, with the surgery having gone as planned.
The question is: will Moira find out what her husband did while she was having her procedure?
