‘work out’ who exposes Cain and Ruby affair – and it’s someone close to home
Emmerdale Cain Dingle cheated on Moira this week with Ruby Fox-Miligan - and fans are certain they know who will expose him in a shock revenge twist
Emmerdale fans have ‘rumbled’ the villager who is going to expose Cain Dingle and Ruby Fox-Miligan’s shock affair.
Over in the Dales recently, Moira (Natalie J Robb) underwent surgery for her brain tumour. Fans will recall Moira was diagnosed with a meningioma brain tumour earlier this year.
Husband Cain (Jeff Hordley) has since been struggling with the news, and during Wednesday’s emotional episode (November 20) he spiralled out of control, as Moira had surgery.
After downing a bottle of booze, he came face to face with Jimmy King (Nick Miles) – in which Cain attacked him, leaving Jimmy battered and bloodied. However, things soon took a more dramatic turn.
Later on, Caleb was in the garage when Ruby (Beth Cordingly) arrived, who was shocked to see her brother-in-law Cain after thinking he would be at the hospital with Moira.
“Why you in my garage”, Cain queried as she replied: “Someone I wasn’t bothered about seeing.” The pair had a brief exchange of words before they kissed passionately. In another scene, Cain and Ruby were seen fixing their clothes signalling they had taken their moment of passion further.
Cain and Ruby’s shock romp left fans fuming. However, other fans are certain it’s only a matter of time before the truth comes out, and a certain they know which villager will expose them. Sharing their thoughts on an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, viewers reckon Ruby’s estranged daughter and soap newcomer Steph (Georgia Jay ) could be the one to reveal all.
Steph rocked up the Dales last week to see her parents for the first time in over 10 years. And it was clear that Ruby and Caleb have a tense relationship with their daughter, following her difficult childhood, which ended up with the parents sending Steph to boarding school.
Despite the awkward face-to-face at first, Steph has settled into village life, even bagging a job at her dad Caleb’s new depot. But fans reckon Steph still hasn’t forgiven mum Ruby and will use her cheating on Caleb as revenge.
One person said: “Where on earth has Cains storyline come from? Having sex with Ruby!!! Why did she pitch up at the garage???? Beyond belief. I’m sure the writers could have come up with something much more pleasant than that.“
Someone else replied: “Hopefully it gets revealed soon, I think Steph will find out and tell Caleb to get payback.” A third chimed in: “I agree Stephanie.” Echoing their thoughts, another fan replied: “Steph of Ruby’s dad?” A fifth added: “Yes! I don’t trust Steph still.”
