Split ‘sealed’ as one character makes big relationship mistake

Emmerdale could be airing a devastating split next week on the hit ITV soap. Charity Dingle is in the midst of a huge storyline at the moment after she stabbed Mackenzie Boyd in the night as she continues to struggle with her mental health following the altercation she had with Harry at Christmas, which ended up with Harry’s death.

Charity has been finding it difficult to cope with all that’s going on, and as a result, has been struggling with sleep deprivation. Mack was rushed to the hospital but last week viewers found out he would be ok and Charity was released from police custody although refused anyone’s help.

Later that night, a tortured Charity ignores Mack’s babbling and leaves the house, clearly in a state of torment following her traumatic few weeks. Later, Mack is left confused when he comes downstairs to find Charity has gone. It’s not long until Mack quickly realises he made a mistake by refusing to give his wife the space she asked for.

Mack then heads out in search of Charity and finally finds her car broken down at the side of a country road. This forces the two characters to have a heart-to-heart but can they get over this huge hurdle or does Charity have other ideas for their relationship?

Emmerdale viewers will be left gutted for one fan favourite next week after a big betrayal. Soap fans will recall that Chas Dingle was recently diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer with the ITV soap working with Breast Cancer Now for the emotional storyline. On Thursday’s episode, Chas revealed to her family that the cause of her cancer is the faulty BRCA2 gene, encouraging her loved ones to get tested. In upcoming scenes, Aaron Dingle worries that his mother is not facing up to the reality of her operation as she only allows herself two weeks off from work.

Paddy quickly realises he’s made a huge mistake and his tactless reaction leaves an already vulnerable Chas unexpectedly hurt. Things go from bad to worse when Mandy Dingle is left utterly shell shocked when partner Paddy reveals he kissed Chas. However, Mandy’s eerily quiet reaction leaves Paddy completely unnerved.

Later at the hospital, Chas puts on a brave face in front of Aaron as she’s taken into surgery. However, once alone, Chas’ bravado fails as her nerves take over in heartbreaking scenes. Meanwhile Aaron and Cain are tense as they wait for news on Chas, where they’re both secretly grateful for each other’s company.
