36 Emmerdale pictures confirm major wedding shocker as affair is exposed and a return is ‘sealed’
Wedding bells are ringing in Emmerdale next week as the day of Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) and Tom King’s (James Chase) nuptials arrive, as revealed in Metro’s latest picture gallery, featuring 36 new pictures.
The ITV soap loves a dramatic wedding and this one follows its predecessors splendidly, with disagreements, a shocking secret revealed and a good old-fashioned dose of ‘will they won’t they?’ thrown in for good measure.
Tom, however, isn’t quite the nice guy he’s making out to be after he hit Belle a number of months ago – and he starts to exhibit even more red flags as we approach the wedding day.
In typical Tom fashion, the groom-to-be finds flaws in everything that Belle does and he wastes little time in venting his frustration when she reveals she’s not keen on to taking his surname after they wed.
As Emmerdale fans know, the Dingles love to proudly wield their surname like a badge of honour, so it’s totally understandably why bride-to-be Belle wants to keep her own but Tom throws his toys out of the pram, with Belle ultimately reconsidering and agreeing to take his.
But that’s not the only thing Tom has an issue with as he takes a comment that Belle makes about her parents missing the ceremony personally, reminding her that his folks won’t be in attendance either – as he storms out in a huff.
The vet proceeds to ignore his wife-to-be, leaving Belle uncertain with regards to whether the wedding is even going to go ahead.
But despite all the hiccups and – as confirmed in my pictures – the big day does take place, with Tom and Belle exchanging their vows and tying the knot. Tom, however, soon starts to vents over the rowdiness of the family he’s married in to.
Does he know the Dingles at all? I mean, what did he expect?
And it’s not just the Dingles the frustrate him either, as Ruby Miligan (Beth Cordingly) uses the wedding reception as an opportunity to expose Caleb’s (William Ash) affair with Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh), leaving all those in attendance, including Nate Robinson (Jurrell Carter), in shock.
It’s a week not to be missed!
Emmerdale airs these scenes between Monday, February 12 and Friday, February 16 at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
