Linda Carter d.e.a.t.h fears in special EastEnders episode as she hits rock bottom in ‘dangerous night of alcohol abuse’
Her family and friends are more worried than ever as she spirals out of control
LINDA Carter is set to relapse in a big way once again in a special episode of EastEnders.
Former Strictly Come Dancing star Kellie Bright has played the alcoholic Queen Vic landlady since December 2013.
Her mum Elaine (Harriet Thorpe) returned from her honeymoon to discover the depths that Linda has fallen too.
Although she resolved to get her daughter back on the straight and narrow, Linda just couldn’t help but wreak more damage.
Realising that she was enabling her daughter, she issued her with an ultimatum.
But as Linda faced the stark choice ahead of her, she will once again turn back to the bottle.
A dangerous night of alcohol abuse will ensue as those around her and EastEnders fans wonder what her future will bring.
It all started when Johnny (Charlie Suff) was left utterly devastated when his Ollie told him about the disturbing details of her drunken behaviour.
Over the last week, Linda sunk to new lows with her abuse and she even slung a few punters out of The Vic in front of her young son.
Johnny tried to intervene about the impact of her drinking, but she turned on him.
Packing a bag, she left the pub in favour of some comfort from her pal Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean).
But Sharon promises to help Johnny and their family as she vows to sort out Linda.
After a dressing down, Linda tries to console herself with even more booze as she stole a bottle from the Minute Mart.
Things get from bad to worse after thieves stole all of Albie’s Christmas presents after Linda drunkenly left the door open.
But she continued to knock back the vodka and had to be rescued by Phil (Steve McFadden) and Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa).
EastEnders continues on BBC One and is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
