Emmerdale spoilers: Vicious abuser Tom King goes to extreme lengths as Belle Dingle’s ordeal worsens
Tom King’s (James Chase) vice-like grip on his new wife Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor Draper) is tightening in Emmerdale.
In a classic abuse strategy, he’s been masterfully gaslighting her and slowly isolating her from the ones she loves.
Now he appears to be after total control.
Having called the shots on Belle changing her surname to suit his needs, Tom is now aiming to control Belle’s body and decision over when to have children.
He pressures her over her plan to hold off having a family and Belle is left in an uncomfortable position.
After having offered her a job at Take A Vow via Tom, Suzy (Martelle Edinborough) is taken aback to see Belle working at the vets on reception.
Suzy gently tests whether Belle is aware of the job offer, which does indeed come as a surprise, but though she’s furious, Belle covers and lies that Tom did pass on the message.
