Emmerdale fans suspect Cain and Ruby are in for a bombastic Christmas
As Cain Dingle struggles to come to terms with cheating on wife Moira with Ruby Fox-Milligan, Emmerdale fans are predicting a huge twist coming up in the Christmas special.
In tonight’s episode of the ITV soap opera, filmed in Leeds, viewers watched as Cain comforted Moira, who was recovering from her brain surgery. And Ruby was dealing with the drama of her unwelcome father and daughter, who recently appeared on the scene for the first time.
At the very end of the episode, Cain, portrayed by Jeff Hordley, stares at himself in the mirror, head in hands, contemplating how he has betrayed his wife at the very moment ‘she needed him most’. He had cheated on her with Ruby, played by Beth Cordingly, while Moria was having the operation.
Fans have speculated this could lead to an explosive Christmas special with Ruby getting pregant again with Cain’s child – just as doubts are starting to loom over who her daughter Steph’s father is.
