Emmerdale: Actor Goes Home as Everything Goes Wrong
If you thought only your Friday went wrong, Emmerdale star Beth Cordingly is here to join you. While her onscreen life as Ruby Fox-Miligan has been going through some tough times, it seems like she had a similar experience offscreen. Let’s dive in and find out what actually happened!
Beth Heads Home
Beth, whom we all know as Ruby Fox-Miligan, recently took to Instagram and wrote that ‘everything had gone wrong’ as the working week came to an end for her, and she’d ‘given up and gone home.’
Later, she also asks her fans to do the same in the same post where we see her on a train. Is there any personal or professional crisis she is worried about? Or is she heading home for a Christmas holiday with her family? Ian is also out in China now – and maybe that makes her feel lonelier than ever.

Beth wrote in her post:
‘Everything has gone wrong today, but now I’m an hour from home, and I’ve just smashed a toffee crisp in my face, so, y’ know. Things are looking up. Have a lovely weekend, X.’
She added: ‘Ps. If you have a day when all the computers say no and your phone’s maps send you round in circles looking for places that don’t exist, and the man at the desk laughs when you say you’re old and need help (and doesn’t help) and things all go a bit Tim-Burton-film-like…just give up and go home. That’s what I’m doing. Life’s too short.’ What seems like a rant – sounds like wise words to us. After all, home is where the heart is!
Reason Behind Beth’s Home Trip
We all know what a busy week it has been for Ruby on screen – she has been ‘doing a lot of crying’ recently which felt like a ‘free therapy’ for her. In the caption, she even wrote, ‘Poor old baggy eyes…! No wonder they’re always swollen!!!’
We completely get her – from hooking up with Cain to dealing with her estranged daughter Steph’s arrival – Ruby is still in huge shock. Can going back to home help Beth overcome Emmerdale’s Ruby? We hope so. And once she’s back, what’s waiting for Ruby in the Dales? It will be interesting to see how it all unfolds.
