Dᴇᴀᴛʜ in Paradise’s Dwayne Myers actor pays tribute to ‘inspiration’ co-star as they make return after exit
Dᴇᴀᴛʜ in Paradise star Danny John-Jules has opened up on his return to the BBC series as he reunites with his on-screen father, Ram John Holder, who he branded an "inspiration".
Dᴇᴀᴛʜ in Paradise’s Danny John-Jules has shared heartfelt words about his on-screen father, Ram John Holder, as they return to the beloved BBC show.
The pair, who play Dwayne Myers and his father, Nelson, will appear in the festive special, which will be broadcast on December 22.
Fans caught a glimpse of Dwayne in the final episode of the most recent Dᴇᴀᴛʜ In Paradise series, which bid farewell to characters Neville Parker (played by Ralf Little) and Florence Cassell (portrayed by Josephine Jobert), with Dwayne bidding them adieu as they embarked on a new journey together.
Nelson, Dwayne’s father, has been absent from the show for some time after the two left to travel the world. Yet, with his return for the Christmas episode, viewers are left wondering if his stay might be fleeting, especially since Dwayne had previously hinted at his father’s declining health.
Danny John-Jules expressed his feelings about returning to the series for the special, saying: “It’s pretty much like walking out your front door for me,” reports the Mirror.
