Emmerdale fans are convinced that Cain Dingle has cheated on wife Moira for a second time - and they are not happy with the soap stalwart
Emmerdale viewers are convinced that Cain Dingle has been unfaithful to his wife Moira once again.
The iconic character, played by Jeff Hordley, has been having a tough time lately due to Moira’s (Natalie J Robb) diagnosis of a meningioma brain tumour. In November, Moira underwent successful surgery for the tumour, but while she was in the operating room, Cain began to unravel.
After consuming an entire bottle of alcohol, he ended up attacking Jimmy King (Nick Miles), but the situation escalated when Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) arrived at Cain’s garage later on.
Ruby was taken aback to find her brother-in-law Cain there, assuming he would be at the hospital with Moira. However, one thing led to another and they found themselves locked in a passionate kiss.
In a subsequent scene, Cain and Ruby were seen adjusting their clothing, indicating that their passionate moment had gone further. Both were horrified by what they had done, vowing that no one must ever find out, reports Leeds Live.

After their unexpected sexual encounter, Cain was consumed with guilt and avoided Ruby in order to keep their secret affair hidden – a strategy that has worked so far.
In the episode aired on December 9, Cain was unnerved when Ruby and Caleb Miligan (William Ash) decided to visit Moira at home following her surgery. Feeling trapped and desperate to prevent Moira from suspecting their affair, Cain quickly came up with a reason to leave.
Cain Dingle has been caught fibbing to his loved ones about an outing to Dudley for a vintage car, leaving Moira heartbroken. Behind the scenes, Cain was oblivious to the fact that Moira had been planning a surprise party to thank him for his unyielding support during her illness.

Stuck in his pickup on a secluded road, Cain was grappling with the heavy toll of his deceit and the possible crumbling of his marriage. When Moira texted him about when he’d be home, he maintained the facade by claiming he needed to spend the night away.
Yet, Emmerdale fans are buzzing with suspicions that there’s more to Cain’s story. On a dedicated fan page on Facebook, viewers have speculated that Cain might be enmeshed in yet another affair. “Hmmm, what is Cain up to,” pondered one watcher. Amidst conjectures, another fan proposed: “Guilty. Has he cheated again?”
Echoing this sentiment, a third added: “I thought that. It could have happened off-screen, wouldn’t put it past writers, they’ve ruined his character already.” The possibility of Tracy Metcalfe (played by Amy Walsh) being involved also surfaced, with one commenter suggesting: “With Tracy! ” while another lamented: “Oh I hope not, but you’re probably right.”
