ITV Emmerdale: ‘work out’ Anthony’s true identity in sinister Ruby twist
Emmerdale fans are convinced that Anthony is not all he seems as he showed his 'true' colours in a tense showdown with Ruby as he demanded she dump husband Caleb
In a dramatic twist on Emmerdale, the soap’s new face Anthony (played by Nicholas Day) has shown his malevolent streak as he confronted Ruby Fox-MilLigan (portrayed by Beth Cordingly), pressuring her in a nerve-racking encounter.
Fans hooked on the ITV serial drama recognise that the gravely ill Anthony arrived in the village recently, eager to reconcile with his distant daughter after years of separation. To keep her own daughter Steph (Georgia Jay) close, Ruby hesitantly asked Anthony to stay in the village.
Caleb Milligan (William Ash) seemed keen for his spouse Ruby to forge a fresh bond with her dad and extend him an olive branch; but Caleb’s dreams of domestic bliss took a hit.
In the instalment aired on Tuesday (December 10), Anthony stormed into Mill Cottage, seething upon learning about Caleb’s affair with Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh).
Brushing off his father-in-law’s wrath, Caleb was unfazed and hinted at resorting to aggression, reports Leeds Live.
