BBC EastEnders’ Lacey Turner shows off new home with stunning Christmas tree
Lacey Turner, who found fame on BBC soap EastEnders, has shared a look at her new home with husband Matt Kay, complete with a Christmas tree adorned with a large bow
EastEnders star Lacey Turner, who is expecting her third child next year, has given fans a glimpse into her festive home. The actress, famed for her role as Stacey Slater in the soap, shared a snap on Instagram of her Christmas tree, adorned with an array of colourful decorations including a Rubik’s cube, a glitterball, an ice cream cone and a butterfly. The tree, topped with a large bronze bow and draped with lametta, sits by an archway in her living room. The cosy space also features a cream faux fur bean bag, a warm fireplace and a brown sofa.
Artwork adorns the walls, including a twist on the Full Metal Jacket movie poster, entitled Full Metal Twiggy by JJ Adams, and Victoria Topping’s piece Mother Love above the fireplace. After Lacey shared the images of her home decked out for the season, her EastEnders colleagues were among those who were quick to comment on her festive decor, with Natalie Cassidy (Sonia) saying: “The bow is banging,” and Diane Parish (Denise) adding: “Oooooooh! ” alongside a string of Christmas emojis.
Balvinder Sopal (Suki) and Louisa Lytton, who recently reprised her role as Ruby, also expressed their admiration for the bow-topped tree.
Lacey Turner, who is expecting her third child with husband Matt Kay in 2025, shared the joyous news of her pregnancy earlier this year on Instagram. The EastEnders star posted a heartwarming snap of herself, Matt, and their two children, five year old Dusty and three year old Trilby, holding a pregnancy scan on Monday, 30 September. The family was pictured on a beach at sunset, smiling as they held the scan. In one photo, Dusty and Trilby were seen sweetly clutching the scan.
Lacey captioned the post: “Aren’t we lucky….. @thekayoskids” alongside several heart emojis. Previously in 2021, Lacey told OK! Magazine about her plans to expand her family beyond two children. She said: “I’d still have four. I would be happy with three and I’d be happy with two if this was our lot. We’re so lucky to have the two we’ve got, but I would definitely have more.”
In an exclusive interview with the Mirror last month, Stacey said: “I’m excited for all of us really. It’s like another chapter in our little story, yeah I am excited. There’s nothing better than a newborn and a newborn cuddle, so that would be lovely. Yeah, we’re really excited and we’re looking forward to it.”
