Strictly’s Jamie Borthwick fuels romance rumours as he cosies up to EastEnders co-star on night out
The actors grew close on the BBC soap - and have been spending time together out of Walford
STRICTLY star Jamie Borthwick has continued to fuel rumours of a romance with his former EastEnders co-star.
The actor cosied up to Jazzy Phoenix as they enjoyed a night watching Robin Hood at the London Palladium.
Jamie, who has played Jay Brown on the BBC soap since 2006, beamed as he stood with the ex Walford star on his arm.
It comes after his earlier exit from Strictly Come Dancing ahead of the final this weekend.
Meanwhile Jazzy, rose to fame for playing Nadine Keller on the BBC soap opera, bag herself a huge new role away from Walford.
The actress, who was previously linked to another of her co-stars Bobby Brazier, wrapped up in a faux fur hat and long beige coat as they posed on the red carpet.
Nadine grew close to Jamie’s character Jay Brown on the programme following the death of his wife Lola Pearce-Brown.
She later attempted to fool Jay into thinking she was pregnant with his baby.
Jazzy is now working on a new theatre role in the stage play, Come What May.
Despite winning the most recent Christmas edition of the long-running BBC dancing competition, Jamie, 30, was eliminated from the 2024 series of Strictly – and fans were furious.
The soap star was the ninth star to be voted off Strictly Come Dancing after he landed in the dreaded dance off.
Although he received good scores from the judges for his Foxtrot, the panel chose to save Gladiators athlete Montell Douglas, 38.
Jamie struggled to hold back his own tears as emotions ran high on spin-off show It Takes Two after watching his ‘best bits’.
Judges Craig Revel Horwood, Anton Du Beke, and Motsi Mabuse all chose to save Montell over the actor.
But fans fumed on social media, raging that Pete Wicks should have been eliminated.
