Brenda at war with enemy ahead of dramatic Emmerdale exit
Things couldn’t be worse for Brenda Walker (Lesley Dunlop) right now in Emmerdale – not only has she been utterly betrayed by her man and lost every penny she owned, but the anniversary of her son’s death is also just around the corner.
After learning that Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) had completely ripped her off, she then discovered that he hadn’t even really meant to propose to her. Two gut punches in one.
With her world falling down around her ears, Eric re-proposed to her over champagne and nibbles in the shop.
But in a brutal moment she turned him down and broke up with him instead.
As she comes to terms with the end of her long-term relationship and the loss of her home, Brenda is now facing Heath’s anniversary.
To mark the occasion, a memorial concert is arranged for everyone to attend and pay their respects.
But things descend into war as Brenda and Wendy Posner (Susan Cookson) face off over the organisation of the day.
Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) is at his wit’s end as the two women continue to fight and with Brenda in a bad place, she’s not backing down.
Her exit is fast approaching, and speculation is rife as to what will be the straw that breaks the camel’s back.
Will it be remembering Heath that makes her realises there’s nothing left to make her stay?
