Emmerdale confirms unexpected Christmas tragedy as legend reels in 20 pictures
Tis the season to be jolly but for the residents of Emmerdale there is little to smile about, as confirmed in my new Christmas spoiler pictures, with tragedy, heartbreak and a mystery vanishing on the cards.
The tension between Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) and April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) continues in the lead up to the festive season, with the father and daughter’s relationship more strained than ever.
April carries on pushing the boundaries and things take quite a turn when Marlon comes to realise that she has been buying c.a.n.n.a.b.i.s.
Upon confronting her on the matter, a showdown ensues and, as Christmas Day arrives, Marlon receives a big shock.
Over at Home Farm, Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) feels the heat as Peter arrives to pile on the pressure, reminding him that he has no choice but to follow through on their plan and destroy Kim Tate (Claire King).
Will, however, is more uncomfortable than ever.
Is he starting to have second thoughts? That remains to be seen but, as Kim sets off on a Christmas Eve ride, her horse is later seen wandering alone, leaving us wondering what exactly happened.
A flashforward adds another layer of intrigue. The question is: have Will, Peter and their co-conspirator followed through on their plot and removed Kim Tate from the equation?
We’ll just have to wait and see.
You’ll be pleased to know that it’s not all doom and gloom, however, as Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) is left in good spirits after an unexpected development in the wake of Tom King’s (James Chase) trial.
The former events planner is left with food for thought after she admits to Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) that she never saw Piper’s body.
Suspecting that Tom was lying about her beloved dog’s death, she asks Vinny to get her shovel and together they dig up the grave – to find no body inside!
Belle is left reeling and contemplates visiting Tom in prison – but Vinny and Gabby work together to reunite Belle with Piper on Christmas Day.
It’s going to be a festive season to remember!
