Emmerdale spoilers suggest that there is possibly more to come in Tom King’s negative storyline—and we can’t be more worried. In the previous episodes of this week, we saw him go behind bars with a three-year sentence after a long trial for the abuse of his wife, Belle Dingle. It has been a long and tiring journey for Belle, who was once blind in love and succumbed to his abuses eventually.
But Belle has come a long way now; she is well aware of Tom’s tricks now and didn’t fall for them when he tried to fake suicide to blackmail her. Instead, she went ahead and testified for the trial. While Tom’s sentence is the talk of the town now, Belle is still trying to process it all.
Mandy Shares Her Fears
While Belle and the whole village are still recovering from yesterday’s trial, we see Mandy Dingle confiding in Kerry Wyatt about her fears. She has instincts that though the worst seems to be over, there’s more to come. She says, “I can’t shake this feeling like that there’s more to come. I don’t know [how], but like he’s not done yet.”
As Belle chats with Vinny, she also wonders if there are some of Tom’s deeds left that can backfire soon. We all recall how Tom attacked Vinny at the scrapyard when he was supposed to be at the conference. It turns out that Tom had tracked Belle’s phone and learned the location. They hardly ever gave it a thought.
Belle confides in Vinny, “I just can’t stop wondering what else Tom might have done. We never found out who put you in the hospital. And that attack was random, and it was right after we’d spent that day together. Tom could have easily driven back, and he knew I was with you.” Will Tom again aim for revenge from the prison? And will Belle come across more shocking discoveries?
