Rushing into Home Farm, Jamie's utterly horrified to find Will Taylor being arrested and Kim lifeless on the floor.. 'Emmerdale' TV Show, UK - Jun 2021 Emmerdale, is a British ITV long running soap opera, known as Emmerdale Farm until 1989, set in Emmerdale, a fictional village in the Yorkshire Dales. It was created by Kevin Laffan and was first broadcast on 16 October 1972. It was originally produced by ITV Yorkshire and is still filmed in their Leeds studios.

Emmerdale has seemingly ruled out Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln) as a potential suspect in the ongoing plot to take down village titan Kim (Claire King).

Kim, as fans know, is being targeted by a mystery man who is hellbent on revenge, wanting to destroy the Home Farm legend and everything she owns.

The person’s identity – and their reason for wanting to give Kim a taste of her own medicine – remains to be seen. What we do know is that the elusive manipulator is working with Peter, Kim’s former financial advisor and love interest.

Peter is in cahoots with Will Taylor (Dean Andrews), who has convinced Kim to renew her wedding vows on Christmas Day as part of their plan to teach her a lesson.

The whole mystery has got fans trying to work out who it is that is wanting Kim out of the picture – and it seems one key suspect has now been ruled out.

Monday’s (December 23) edition of the ITV soap saw Will discussing the plot with Peter, speculating that their mystery partner is none other than Jamie.

While Peter didn’t exactly say Will’s theory was incorrect, his reaction certainly didn’t scream that he was on the right path.

What’s more, it’s something of soap law that you never give away the twist before it plays out on screen so it’s likely that this scene means that Jamie definitely isn’t the person trying to take Kim down.

But if not Jamie then who?

That is the million dollar question – and it’s one we’re going to get answers too sooner rather than later, with the culprit set to arrive in the village in the lead up to Christmas Day!

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 or stream from 7am on ITVX.
