Former Emmerdale actress Kelli Hollis is living the high life (pun intended) in Thailand where she runs her own ‘weed bar.’

The actress – who portrayed Ali Spencer in the long-running serial drama – appeared in Emmerdale for four years between 2011 and 2015.

And the star, 47, has been living abroad ever since with no plan to live in the UK.

Speaking about her latest venture, she told Daily Star: ‘I actually don’t like the feeling [of being stoned]. But to be honest I have become a little partial to the edibles here obviously because I have to test the products.

‘But that is not to be stoned. I promote ours for rest and for aches and pains for people who don’t want to smoke so I will have mine before bed.’

Kelli’s former soap character, was killed off-screen in April 2018, when Daz Spencer (Mark Jordon) received a phone call, which let him know of her untimely death.

‘I’m so sorry angel but we’ve had some bad news,’ he said. ‘It’s your mum. She’s had an accident. She was in a car and she was driving to work when she lost control and crashed into a wall.’

Actress Kelli previously revealed that she conceived her child while filming the ITV soap.

‘I actually conceived my son while I was filming at Emmerdale,’ said Kelli. ‘Not on set but in my Winnebago.’

‘I’m sure there are a lot of worse places to be conceived – and at least
we got a bit of kudos.’

Kelli revealed that the cast and crew were not only aware of this fact, but they also joked about it – suggesting that she could call her child Emma or Dale.

‘Everybody used to joke that if we had a girl we should call her Emma and if it was a boy we should call him Dale,’ she said on Soap From The Box podcast.
