EastEnders fans convinced axed star returned to k.i.l.l Cindy Beale in shock twist – did you spot the ‘huge clue’?
It might have something to do with her daughter Lucy Beale who was also k.i.l.l.e.d
EastEnders fans convinced an axed star returned to kill Cindy Beale in a shock twist.
BBC One viewers tuned into the double bill of episodes on Christmas Day where her affair with Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) was revealed.
The special ended with Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) lying on the ground after she was hit on the head with a snow shovel by a mystery character.
Just before she was attacked, Cindy emotionally looked at her necklace which featured an image of her daughter Lucy who was murdered.
Many fans claimed that the accessory was not there when she was found on death’s door.
Some started to speculate that this could link the incident back to Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) who accidently k.i.l.l.e.d his elder sister.
He left the Square to live with his previously estranged mother Jane Beale (Laurie Brett) for a new life in the Cotswolds.
A number of viewers took to X – formerly known as Twitter – as they reckon he returned off screen to kill his step-mother.
One fan wrote: BOBBY Beale RETURNS (OFF Camera) and plunges Cindy with Shovel????
“Was it Bobby who attacked Cindy at the end of Christmas Day’s final epsiode??”
“Need an angry Bobby to have whacked Cindy coz he felt lonely on Xmas day not being at the family dinner,” exclaimed another.
While a third user stated: “Bobby Beale attacked Cindy.”
And a fourth added: “Is the necklace deffo missing from Cindy’s body? If so kinda points to someone with a connection to Lucy being the person wielding the shovel? Ian or Peter? Hilarious if it’s Bobby.”
In the dramatic special, Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) gifted Cindy’s (Michelle Collins) accidental audio confession to George Knight (Colin Salmon).
She was determined to ruin her life after Cindy got her addicted to smack and painkiller p.i.l.l.s whilst she was pregnant with Peter’s (Thomas Law) baby.
George was given a mystery USB stick with the incriminating evidence and in a dramatic moment, he then played it for all to hear in The Vic.
In a dramatic monologue Cindy blasted every member of her family, including George and Elaine, Lauren, Peter and even her two daughters, Gina (Francesca Henry), and Anna (Molly Rainford).
EastEnders returns on BBC One and is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
