“Sistas” & “Zatima” Star Devale Wants To See More Humanity In 2025
BET’s “Sistas” & “Zatima” Star Devale just shared one of the best messages to start the year!
Devale and Khadeen talked about wanting to see more humanity in 2025.
He shared:
“Imagine a world where people used their platforms to self correct and take accountability as opposed to looking for every chance to find faults in others. The truth is I mess up ALOT… We all do, as spouses, parents, children, family and friends. Sometimes we misread a situation and that’s okay because we are human. Our differences make us unique individuals, but our perspective can often present itself as the truth to us and an illusion to others.
Admitting fault in a situation isn’t a sign of weakness or a plea of guilt. Recognizing someone else’s perspective doesn’t negate yours. The ability to control your emotions while someone else’s explains how you made them feel is the ultimate sign of compassion, humility and humanity.
As we enter into 2025 and the digital age expands into A.I. (artificial intelligence) I beg that we all look within to find our humanity and grow to see the humanity in others.
IF YOU ARE READING THIS RIGHT NOW LOOK UP. That person across from you that you probably didn’t speak to because you’ve been buried in your phone (they’re probably buried in their phone too) is more than just a profile name, @, or handle. That’s a human, and the emotions that come from the things you comment, text, email, and share are not artificial or easily CTRL+ALT+DELETED.
Always with Love & Extremely Humility”
Perfectly said Devale! Let’s bring in the New Year with kindness.
