Emmerdale viewers are convinced they’ve figured out when April Windsor will make her comeback to the Dales – and she won’t be coming back solo.
The young character, played by Amelia Flanagan, has been MIA since Christmas Day, with her last sighting showing her getting into an unfamiliar car driven by an unknown person.
April’s vanishing act followed a tumultuous period in the Dales. She was kidnapped by the dangerous Jade (Twinnie-Lee Moore) and discovered the truth about her mum Donna’s (Verity Rushworth) death in 2014.
Subsequently, April turned to alcohol and drugs and had a falling out with her dad Marlon (Mark Charnock), before disappearing. Since then, a distraught Marlon has been on a mission to find his daughter, with the entire village rallying behind him.

This week, Marlon made an online video appeal, hoping that April would see it and return home. Sadly, despite the video going viral, cruel trolls accused Marlon of being involved in her disappearance, reports Leeds Live.
However, fans believe they’ve ‘cracked the code’ on when April will return – and they’re certain they know who will escort her back to the village. Emmerdale recently teased a dramatic preview for February, hinting at a perilous start to the year for some of the village’s favourite characters.

The nail-biting plot includes a horrifying car crash and a frozen lake, with several lives hanging in the balance. Emmerdale fans are on the edge of their seats after February’s nail-biting episodes spark rumours that April might make her comeback.
On an Emmerdale Facebook fan group, one eagle-eyed viewer linked the icy plot twist to her return: “So this when April returns?” Fellow fans jumped on the bandwagon with replies such as: “Most likely.”

Another chimed in with, “Yes I thought this too! I don’t think they will drag it out for any longer.” Conspiracy theories on the fan page hint that Emmerdale icon Kelly Windsor (Adele Silva) could be the one to usher April back into the village. One viewer speculated: “Wasn’t there talks about Kelly coming back. Maybe she’s gone to her and she brings April back.”
Others echoed this hunch, “I would love it if Kelly came back. Perhaps she finds April and this is her return storyline? ” Another fan got hyped up saying, “That would be epic.”
Kelly, who plays April’s aunt, was last spotted leaving the celebrated Dales in 2011 to start afresh in London, leaving everyone wondering if she’ll tread the cobbled paths of Emmerdale once again.
